Pigmentation and dark spot removal Belgrade
Pigmentation is one of the most demanding skin concerns, so treatment always starts with an analysis, to know which kind of spots we are working with. We use targeted protocols, from the Cold peel to the Green Sea and Illumin protocols.
Why dark spots appear on the face
Dark spots are excess pigment the skin has produced in response to sun, inflammation, hormonal changes or aging. Different causes call for different treatments: sun spots respond differently from melasma, and the dark marks left by acne differ again from age spots. That is why the first step is always a skin analysis, and only then the choice of peel and protocol.
Dark spot removal
Treatments for dark spots and pigmentation
- 01
Cold peel (4-butyl resorcinol)
A new generation peel targeted at hyperpigmentation, with less irritation than the classic acids.
- 02
Chemical peel
Glycolic, lactic or salicylic acid: speeds up renewal of the surface layer and gradually lifts surface pigmentation.
- 03
Illumin peel + biorevitalizer
A peel combined with a nourishing cocktail to brighten and refresh the complexion in a single treatment.
- 04
Green Sea peel
A plant based peel for deeper renewal, when the tone and texture need a more intensive evening out.
- 05
Microneedling
For the dark marks left after acne and for evening out the complexion through skin renewal.
SPF: no result without it
No pigmentation treatment is worth anything without consistent SPF: the sun is the main trigger for pigmentation and brings spots back faster than any treatment can lift them. That is why every protocol comes with home care recommendations, including SKIN PEARL brightening products and daily sun protection.
Why book your pigmentation treatment at Hope Centar
Hyperpigmentation is the area where it is easiest to get things wrong: too strong a peel at the wrong moment can make spots worse. We build the protocol gradually and follow how your skin responds from one treatment to the next. If we judge that a spot needs a medical opinion, we will refer you to a dermatologist before any treatment.
Frequently asked questions
Surface pigmentation can usually fade significantly or clear, while deeper pigmentation such as melasma needs longer work and maintenance. At the skin analysis we will tell you honestly what is realistic for your type of pigmentation.
Most often a series of 3 to 6 treatments spaced 2 to 4 weeks apart. The first shift in the complexion is usually visible after one or two treatments.
Ideally when the sun is weaker: autumn, winter and early spring. If we treat in summer, we choose the protocol more carefully and SPF is required every day.
Darker skin is more prone to post-inflammatory pigmentation, so we choose gentler protocols such as the Cold peel and build up gradually. That is why pigmentation treatment here always starts with a skin analysis.
